Hisense Roku t.v. turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off for 10 seconds

Out of the blue my t.v. just started cycling like this, i assumed it was an update that caused it. The jist of this is i have 3 seconds to do anything to the t.v. I have tried: Unplug the power when the t.v. is on, Press and hold the hard reset button while the t.v. is off and on (for the 3 seconds) Using the remote to try to get past the cycling.

So any clue as to why my t.v. turns off for 10 seconds and turns on for 3 seconds, and is there anything i can do to stop the cycling, and possibly regain my TV back? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Re: Hisense Roku t.v. turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off for 10 seconds

Hello! @andres42,

Thanks for reaching out to the Roku Community!

We understand that you are reporting an issue with your Hisense Roku TV. We are happy to help.

  • Have you check the power cord/outlet to ensure the device is getting enough power?
  • Have you tried plugging it into other wall outlet?
  • If the problem persists, try doing a factory reset on the TV

Using the physical button

Located on the back or bottom of your device, the physical Reset button is either tactile or a pinhole design that requires a straightened paperclip. It will appear similar to one of the following:

Example of physical reset buttons on a Roku TV or Roku player

Once you locate the Reset button and your Roku device is powered on, press and hold the button firmly for about 30 seconds. When the factory reset is complete, an indicator light or status LED will blink rapidly on most Roku devices.

If the issue still persist please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their product running the Roku OS.

You can contact Hisense here: https://www.hisense-usa.com/support/ or 1-888-935-8880 .

Best regards,
