Just recently tried to view local broadcast TV channels and the only app for doing TV seems to be the "Live TV" app. I did scan the local channels from the antenna connected, but when I launch the "Live TV" app all I see is **bleep** streaming TV stations from all over the country. I just want to see the LOCAL stations, and I recall being able to do so easily when I first got the Roku TV. I don't want to have to wade through the literal hundreds of non-local and other streaming TV options, just to find my local stations... which I can't even find in the list and there's no search function to just plug in "Seattle" to get just those stations.
Please direct me HOW to view local broadcast TV stations or fix this **bleep** app to make it so WE CAN CHOOSE to show local or national/global streamed stations... better, just give us a simple TV tuner app that ONLY uses antenna channels!
Try this: go to Settings > TV inputs > Live TV > Hide streaming TV channels and select Hide all.
From: How to set up the Live TV input on your Roku TV™ | Official Roku Support
Thank you! That worked...
Only the menu was a little deeper:
Settings > TV Inputs > Live TV > Manage Channels > Hide streaming channels
Don't know why this isn't on by default for Live TV... would be simpler.
