I am having the same issue with a Sharp Roku TV

I called the customer support number & the recorded message says they’re having issues with activation. They’re “aware of it & trying to fix it”. This sucks, I just bought a Roku because my Chromecast started having similar connection issues & now Roku is doing the same.

Looks like this is an issue that has recently happened. Wish I knew about it before I factory reset my now flat brick. Hopefully it's a temporary issue, otherwise, there's no way to bypass this, and, yeah, the QR code won't even appear either

We are having the same issue.

Finally got mine to reset. Basically just kept reconnecting to internet until QR code popped up. Good luck wish I had a surefire trick

Ditto ......I even went through the "recovery mode", but it still brought me right back to the email activation screen.

update 11PM MTN ......fixed
