Sorry for the newbie question guys, but I just have a question regarding which audio output to choose. I have a Sonos beam 2 connected to my tv via earc. My tv audio output options are: auto, passthrough, stereo and custom.

From the info I've gathered, passthrough would be my best bet because the soundbar will do the audio processing instead of the tv. I'm not sure if choosing auto would be the best bet because when I open th Sonos app, itll show Dolby multichannel pcm 5.1 when playing YouTube videos and when I have it set to pass through, YouTube on the Sonos app will be showing stereo pcm. So I'm a bit confused.
