App won't let me view programming

I recently reactivated my Acorn account with all my old information (email address, credit card etc.) I downloaded the app from Google play store and it wants me to set up an account using my Google email which I never use. Until then I can't watch anything on my tablet. If I do this will I be charged twice since I would have to put in a new credit card number?

Thanks for posting here in the Community.

Can you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you are experiencing? How are you accessing the show, on the Roku Channel or the standalone app? Also, is your subscription through The Roku Channel or directly to Acorn?
