We like using Youtube on our Roku TV (with Roku wireless speakers) for karaoke -- the big screen allows everyone to see the lyrics and sing along and gives our family room a "karaoke box" vibe. However, to this point, we have dealt with playing the karaoke audio through the TV, and have a little mics-and-amp portable karaoke set for singing through. It works, but I would love it if there were an elegant solution for us to play both the Youtube videos (or perhaps a dedicated karaoke channel/app) and mic audio through the TV and Roku wireless speakers (even if it means connecting some sort of mixer or receiver into the TV for the mics).
