I’m not exactly sure when this happened, but I recently added an external 4K apple tv to my set up and I started noticing that things look washed out and red or pink when trying to use hdr or Dolby Vision. Naturally I tested out all my internal Roku apps, a second apple tv, and a ps5. They all returned the same results. I even tested the new apple tv on my 55r615-b and it didn’t have this issue.
I’ve attempted to use the advanced setting and the IQ app to adjust the colors, but this didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Even after multiple calibrations that had slight improvements each time.
the tv is about 2 years old now and this was not an issue in the past and I feel it may be a software thing as everything is beautiful in 4K SDR.
