Have a Roku 3 streaming device when I try to add a channel and it wants pin number it does not accept the number .
Have you tried removing or changing the pin number in your account at roku.com?
I logged in to my account and created a PIN number I then tried to add a channel using that number it would not accept. The account recognizes my smart tv but doesn’t show my Roku 3 streaming device. This device has never required a PIN number before when I added channels. Why now.
It sounds like the roku 3 is connected to a different account than the TV is.
On the Roku 3, go to: Settings > System > About and check the account/email address there.
It's displaying an incorrect email address and I am unable to change it because it's not a valid email address.
