"Maximum users streaming" message displays between episodes

On NOGGIN, Blues Clues & You....for the past 2 days this message comes up between every episode.... 

      "Maximum users streaming.....Your account is already playing the maximum number of devices at once. NOGGIN allows up to 4 concurrent streams per account. To continue, stop streaming the video on one of your other devices".......1-I only have 3 TVs in the home, 2-Nobody else has the log in info to stream from their device, 3-The living room tv is the one we watch Blues Clues on, whereas the other 2 tvs in the home are not playing NOGGIN, nor are the tvs even on. I've completed a system restart on the tv and on NOGGIN itself, but the message still displays between each episode. HELP PLEASE!

    The sad part is that the only contact info for ROKU customer service is a live chat.....I cannot find a phone number to call to address the issue....If anyone can respond with a better way to contact them, either by phone or email, please post!  Thank you!

        I canceled all my subscriptions through Roku. Customer service is non existent and they had the nerve to actually award me a badge for my first post.  That was their response to my complaint. I was paying for a service! It didn't work and when I seek help I get nothing except awarded a badge for my first post. Wow!

    I just had this happen to me while watching amc+.  I only have one account/one device.  Maybe a glitch?  I’m hoping not something more serious.

      I have been having this same issue, with acorntv and britbox. It is very annoying, I only have 1 TV I watch..

        I am having the same problem when watching Acorn TV.  I'm the only one in the house, with only one TV.

    Having the same issue. Tried removing the channel and restart ROKU then adding channel back. Nothing changed. Waiting for ROKU to address.

    I'm also having the same issue with Acorn TV thru Roku. Started a day or two ago. Happens frequently between episodes of the same show. And I'm streaming from only one device!

      Happening to me as well, while using a streaming device on one TV, and also when watching a Roku TV...all while watching BritBox...tried all of the above that the rest of us have tried.  To no avail.  Where and when will Roku address the issue and will the premium channels discount the days and episodes we've been missing?  Extremely annoying is right.  Anyone successful in removing the message yet?  So far no compromise of the account that I can see.  Looks like it could be a hack/glitch, as well all started having the problem yesterday.

      Let me clarify - this is using the Acorn subscription thru Roku and the "Acorn TV on The Roku Channel" app, version 9.3 Build 10. I have a BritBox subscription directly thru BritBox using their BritBox app and this problem does not happen when watching that. 

      When I get that error screen between episodes, I select "Close" and it takes you back to the screen showing the program you were watching, and usually the next episode is in the "play" box and selecting that plays without error, until the next episode begins, that is.  I cancelled my subscription (my special deal thru Roku was just about up anyway) and I'll resubscribe directly with Acorn and load their app.

      Update: The problem seems to have magically resolved itself yesterday. I did absolutely nothing....

       

      Guess I spoke too soon. Problem is back this morning.  😞

        Could you please specify the channel/s that are affected by this error message? Also, are you directly subscribed to the channel or through Roku Pay?

        This information would better help us understand the issue.

    UPDATE:

    I spoke with a rep at NOGGIN (since this was where my issue was), and she told me that I can cancel my subscription through the ROKU Channel itself, and get the NOGGIN subscription "independently". What I did was go to the home screen and searched for "NOGGIN" (She told me which one to look for) and sign up for the free trial, and then it would be my choice to continue after the trial was over. I canceled NOGGIN through the ROKU Channel website. So what I'm thinking is that you can cancel your subscription of whatever app is giving you the problem.....Acorn tv, Britbox, Starz, AMC+....cancel it through the ROKU Channel.....and then you can search for whichever one you want, on your home screen, either sign up for the free trial if its available, or just sign up for a new subscription. OTHERWISE....I was given a phone number to call and address the problem to ROKU-and I did a google search to make sure the number wasn't based out of India.....(its not) lol The number is 816-272-8106.  I truly hope this will help those of you experiencing the same issues I had!

    this has been happening to me with BritBox for the last couple of days and i only watch on one tv/device. turning my tv off for a minute then back on seems to fix it, i have to go thru all the menus to get back to the episode i want to watch

      Its a ROKU issue. You need to cancel Britbox through ROKU and re-subscribe through the Britbox app.

    I am having the same issue but on ConTv.  Can't find any information on this issue.  Does anyone have any idea what this means?

      Im having the same issue.  Obviously this is an issue as there are a few of us complaining.  Why wont ROKU address it in a manner an old lady like myself can understand??   If you find out how to fix it please post !!!!

    I started having this issue yesterday as well. It's rather annoying. I put TVs I use at another location in guest mode and reset my password, but the message keeps showing up. I hope there is an easy resolution to this problem.

    Same here. Britbox and AMC+. Changed Roku account password, unlinked old devices (now I show 3 devices), restarted modem, router and Roku. Still getting the error message. This is VERY annoying.
