There is a PBS app. There is no separate PBS Passport app. Without Passport, you typically have access to 2-3 weeks of shows.

Also, the app, as are all other than The Roku Channel, is the responsibility of the service/developer, not Roku.

Of course. Just install the PBS app. Pick your local station, and optionally create an account so your watch list and continue watching can be used across devices.

For free, most shows will be available for 2-3 weeks. With Passport (min $5/month) you get the full catalog.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @fmanheim!

Thanks for reaching out. In addition to what our Community Guru provided in the above post, we'd like to walk you through the step-by-step process for adding the PBS app to your newly purchased Roku streaming device.

Kindly navigate to your Home screen and follow the steps provided below:

  1. Scroll and select Store/Streaming Store.
  2. Search for the PBS app.
  3. When you want to learn more about an app, press OK on your remote
  4. If the app is free, select Add channel; if the app requires a subscription, select OK to start a free trial or purchase a subscription

The app will be added to the bottom of the list of apps on the home screen. If you prefer, the app can be moved higher up the list.

You can also add apps via our website Roku Channel Store. Here's our support article dedicated to this: How to add apps to your Roku streaming device

Once again, congratulations on your newly purchased Roku streaming device. Feel free to reach out anytime you need help.

Best regards,
Carly
