Because we only stream, we get a lot of our news and current affairs content from YouTube's news section, commonly watching content from producers like NBC, MSNBC, Meidas Touch, etc. Every so often, we'll be watching one of these videos when suddenly the picture smash cuts to an East Asian woman knitting. Sometimes the camera shows the woman from the front, as she goes about her work, and at other times the camera is looking down on her hands, as if she is wearing a headcam. There's neither music, narration, nor text of any kind; it's just silent.
I've only seen this when watching news clips; never with movies or other types of videos.
Who or what is causing this, and is there anything I can do?
