This thread and another one like it really needs to die.  This has absolutely nothing to do with Roku.

Re: YouTube Chinese interference

It makes me wonder why they're picking videos of women crocheting or men out in the backyard. What is the point of all this? You would think that if they're going to hack they would put something on our screen that would be more productive, for one of a better word

It's not an ad tho, there's no skip button. It's just crochet videos thrown onto the last 8-10 min of the video.

This is not an answer to the question. The interruption is Not a commercial. It is an intrusive Chinese interruption of a lady crocheting.  Several users  asked the same question quite clearly.

I bought a new Fire Stick to get away from this annoyance.

Please answer the question asked not Your erroneous version.

Re: YouTube Chinese interference

The answer is, no matter the platform being used to watch said videos, these are hacked videos of mainstream sights like NBC, ESPN, MSNBC.... To avoid getting them you must look under the title and make sure it is a video from the actual source. Hacked videos will have an unrecognizable and normally Asian name. Everything else looks exactly the same except the page name below the title. Once you stop clicking on them they should leave your feed in time.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!

They are NOT commercials. C’mon ROKU, do something constructive.

These interruptions are NOT ads/commercials. Something or someone has hijacked Roku news.

@SJsapapa, I don't know how many times it has to be stated:  ROKU HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!  Stop watching pirate streams.
