Hello everyone,
Can I use ROKU in Serbia, and all channels (apps) listed in store?
Hello @igorstojisic
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Channel availability on the Roku platform is determined by each channel provider themselves. Channels are only available in the locations where they choose to publish their channel (app). We don't currently market or sell devices directly in Serbia, so many channels/services may not currently be available. However, others such as YouTube and Netflix work in many locations.
For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about whether they offer their channel/service on the Roku platform in your region. We appreciate your contact, and we are always looking to expand our presence.
Regards,
Karla
Thank you for fast response.
Does it mean that all apps that I can use on other platforms in Serbia I can use on Roku?
Thanks for the follow-up, @igorstojisic.
We don't have a specific list of channels that would be supported in Serbia on Roku, but in general, Netflix and YouTube are often accessible and functional everywhere. Other channels might not be accessible because of geo- or service-specific restrictions.
For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about whether they offer their channel/service on the Roku platform in your region.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other concerns.
Regards,
Karla
@RokuKarla- This is a serious question. I've held my tongue on this for too long now.
WHY don't you have access to where each channel has made itself available? Roku must have this information in order to enforce these availability choices, so it should be available within the Roku system. Do they really not give forum moderators access to this important information?
