I had an old Roku3, but I decided it was time to upgrade to Roku Ultra (2022/4800.) My TV is old school HD, automatic mode is 1080 always. I watch a lot of old stuff, SD, like series Galaxy Express 999. Network connection is Ethernet. Internet is fiber, 100 Mb, regularly checks in Roku speed test at 93 Mb. After a few seconds the Tubi stream drops the video. All other channels work fine. Some days Tubi works, but the next day it does not. When Tubi doesn't work, almost nothing on Tubi works. This includes previews and the advertisements, but oddly not the menu attract videos. I can watch the exact same GE999 episode on Pluto just fine. I can use the same Tubi account and time index serially on the same network on a non-Roku device and the same content works just fine. Maybe using another streaming device is my workaround, but that doesn't help Roku's advertising revenue sharing. Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas? This is getting annoying. Thanks.
When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted. A reinstall of the channel to get its latest version may fix the problem, so that is the first thing I would try. Remove/reinstall procedure:
If the problem persists at this point, it typically means the current version of the channel app has a problem that must be addressed by the channel itself as they are the ones that create the Roku-compatible version of their app and provide it to Roku.
This was happening to me on one TV but not the rest. The solution for me was to go to Settings>System>Control other devices and UNCHECK "1-touch play". That fixed it. Some older TVs do strange things with CEC, and I guess the Tubi app has trouble with them.
Hope this helps!

Great! This finally got it to work. Thanks!
