I use the Spectrum TV app, which is no longer supported by Roku. It is my understanding that as lonspectrumg as I don't delete the app from the Roku device it should function normally.
I spoke with a Spectrum rep and they stated that the channels should still appear on the Roku device since I have not deleted the Spectrum TV app.

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Spectrum support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

I have just bought a Roku ready TV as well as a Roku premier for one of my other Tv’s. My carrier is Spectrum. I can get Spectrum on 2 of my televisions but cannot get Spectrum on my Roku ready tv or with the premiere. I specifically purchased these items to stream Spectrum. I am highly disappointed that I cannot stream Spectrum! I can only get our local news on the Spectrum app. WHEN WILL THIS ISSUE BE RESOLVED?? Do I need to return my Roku ready tv and Roku premier?
If you bought your Roku devices solely for the Spectrum functionality, there's no telling when/if it will ever return. Spectrum has no incentive to return to Roku, because they instead rent you their cable boxes for a lot of money in their pocket. Roku offered them the same deal they offer the other providers, and it's Spectrum that isn't willing to play.
Would I return the Roku devices? No, because there's so much more available over the Internet, things you might not have even been aware of, and some of it is even free. And if Spectrum finally agrees to terms, you'll be ready to go once the channel is again available. Spectrum is still maintaining and updating the existing channel, as reported by the users that still have it. So perhaps they are still planning on returning to Roku.
Ok I’ll contact Spectrum but Roku also needs to work on getting Spectrum back! What would be the point in buying anything Roku if your carrier is Spectrum? I certainly would not have purchased a Roku ready TV or the Roku premier. You will be loosing business/sales. Even a Spectrum repair specialist suggested the Roku purchase to me. They won’t be suggesting your products any longer
If you have pay TV service from Spectrum, you can still log into many existing providers with your Spectrum credentials. For example HBO Max can be used with your Spectrum credentials if you subscribe to HBO through them. And that works on any recent Roku device. The same applies for many other "cable" channels. You won't find all of them, but many to have channels on Roku devices that accept your cable company credentials, again as long as you subscribe to their channel through the cable provider.
You are assert as a known fact that Spectrum is at fault. The fact that Spectrum can still be streamed on other devices such as Apple TV, X-Box, etc. demonstrates otherwise. The problem is with Roku.

I used to love Roku. Roku is dishonest. Roku sucks. Roku has deprived loyal customers of legitimate streaming options. From here on out, I will be rating it zero stars and warning everyone away from it in favor of other streaming devices.
I have 3 Roku devices, and every few weeks I get a reminder to not delete Spectrum off my devices because I will not be able to add Spectrum back. Youtube TV has a similar dispute with Roku.
As a workaround, I think you can watch Spectrum on a computer and possibly a cell phone and then cast the show to your Roku device (so I hear). This kind-of sucks.
I'd return the Roku devices while you can and buy an Amazon Fire Stick (buy a recent version). Spectrum did not work on my older version of the fire stick however Spectrum will work on the newer versions of the Fire Stick. Read the reviews to verify Spectrum will work.
Knowing what I know now, I would buy Amazon Fire Stick over Roku.

Spectrum is not available for Fire TV devices. If you look at the Spectrum support page, they only list Android phones and tablets, and Google Chromecast, along with Samsung TVs, Xbox and some iOS devices. Fire TV is not supported, nor is the Nvidia Shield, which are both also Android devices. Reports are even side loading the app doesn't work.
You are exactly right, sir. Roku has turned me sour in the past several months with this bald-faced lie and their other dishonest practices. I'm turning my attention back to the open-source software that never lies to me. Thanks to all who give their time freely so we can avoid corporate buffoonery of the sort Roku practices.
