Select a show, it buffers, then sends back to play screen

I’ve had no issues watching shows on the Roku Channel for weeks. Recently, when I go to start a show, it’ll be on the ply screen, the screen will go black, will begin to buffer with a white circle and then send me back to the play screen. This only occurs for certain shows, others are fine.
I have:

-Checked for system updates— none are available, everything is up to date.
-Removed the channel, restarted the Roku and added the channel again

- Checked internet connection status — its reported to be “excellent”

-Factory reset the Roku itself.

None of the troubleshooting has solved my problem.

@Brittanifunk

Thanks for the post.

Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-specific titles that you see this issue occur with
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

With more detailed information, we will be able to investigate the issue further.

Thanks,
Danny

I'm having the same problem with the ALL BLK channel.  It only seems to happen with certain shows.

@PDB321

Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks,
Danny
