I'm having the same problem on a Roku 2. I open the app and it says it needs updating. I close the app and hit* and update, and it says it's now updated. I open the app and get the "needs update" error again. I've removed the app, turned Roku off and on thru system reset and reinstalled the app. Same error. What am I missing?

Contacting the channel provider directly will be more effective because many channels/apps on Roku, such as STARZ, are created, provided, and maintained by the channel services/providers themselves.
If you need further clarification and assistance, let us know, and we'd be more than happy to continue doing so.
All the best,
Carly

EASY FIX for updating STARZ .. hit * while the STARZ box is highlighted.
One of the choices willl be "search for updates" .. click on that & it did everything.
It works great now!! (I surprised myself.. I'm no tekkie!!)
