Roku stick & Global app when watching any "Shows" there is only sound and just white screen

Went to watch the opening episode of Big Brother on the Global app last night.  So after the initial commercial and the subsequent obligatory "viewer warning"  the screen then went white while the audio track kept playing on.  This happened multiple attempts starting with just powering off the tv and Roku stick.

Did all manner of "fixes" I could find to do on the net about this...unplugging tv and Roku both for half hour...restarting the Roku stick through both settings and then a factory reboot and still -- sound but only white screen and no visual.  

Flipped over to try a few different shows in the app's lineup of choices to see if it was just that show and same thing as they all had no visual, just sound..

Help, please!  I've already missed the season opener now because it's locked for viewing today.

The Roku channel app for GlobalTV was created using Roku's Direct Publisher software.   Something has changed recntly in Roku's Direct Publisher system, as many Direct Publisher apps are reporting similar problems in loading content.

Roku has announced it is discontinuing the Direct Publisher system and developers have been given until January 2024 to convert to a new system.   Meanwhile, something has changed recently in Roku's existing Direct Publisher system, as many Direct Publisher apps are reporting similar problems in loading content.

BOTTOM LINE:
There's nothing you can do at your end to fix or get around this.  Roku has to fix whatever problem they've introduced to the Direct Publisher system, or GlobalTV needs to convert to the new system.
