None of the Roku devices in my home will play Disney+ or Netflix videos. YouTube and YouTubeTV channels work though.
When I connected to my WiFi it asked if I was in a dorm/hotel or at home. This never happened before. Once I select the “I am home” option I show that I am connected with an excellent connection status.
Things I have done to troubleshoot:
1. Updated channels
2. reset network connection, reset up WiFi connection.
3. reset modem
4. restarted Roku devices
5. unplugged devices for 10 mins, plugged back in, waited 5 mins before turning on devices
6. checked for software updates on devices
7. deleted and re added channels
8. checked modem settings, normal settings WPA2
9. checked to make sure phone plays videos from Disney and Netflix while connected to the same WiFi.
I don’t know what else I can do to get these channels working.
Where are you located?
Many channels are geo-locked and only available in certain areas.
San Antonio, Texas. I don’t think that’s the issue.
Have you restarted all of your network equipment - gateway/modem/router?
