That happened to me with "Places in the Heart" (Sally Field, John Malkovich, Danny Glover, Ed Harris; early 1980's). I didn't purchase it but for some reason I googled it and the movie was on CRACKLE for free this March 2023. Roku doesn't scan CRACKLE anymore, I guess.

I have two different Roku devices and if I search for it a movie on one it returns results on the other a new premium device, I get no results. They both have the same channels registered. But one searches Max. While the other returns nothing back. The movie was pumped for the Red October. Why would this happen? I have already done a factory reset on the new device and still get the same results. If I use the Roku app on phone I also get the same results this seems to be something wrong with our Roku is searching for movies.
@christopherbb, are both devices linked to the same Roku account? Check the email address displayed under Settings->System->About on each device.
