I have a 1080 tv, my ratio is too big and can’t read words onscreen. How do I change this? Or is it not possible with the express?? I’ve tried a lot including google and YouTube. Some show but I can’t get options others get. Is my express useless ??

What words on the screen? Closed caption? Which channel are you watching? Did you try adjusting your picture size? 

1. Press the Home button on the remote to access the Roku home screen.
2. Use the arrows to highlight the Settings menu.
3. Enter the Settings menu and select the Display type option.
   
4. Use the arrows to select the desired resolution.

@Brbuck2, look for a Zoom, P(icture) Size, or Aspect button on your TV remote.  No Roku device has any adjustment for picture size or aspect ratio.
