I have been having trouble with the PBS app for about a month and today it just keeps crashing and putting me back to the Home Screen. I have deleted and resubscribed to the app, checked system updates, etc—all the tips I found from other users and it’s still not working. Clearly this is a well-known issue—is there a timeline for resolution?
Same problem.
Removed the PBS app. Did a system restart on Roku. Reinstalled the PBS app.
Still not working. Just goes back to the home screen.
Same exact problem for me. I could watch Nov 16, problem started Nov 17, 2024.
I have the identical issue and did submit a support ticket 11/17/24 at the PBS website. Hope they fix it soon!
Same here I have a Hisense roku tv and it's not working, but I also have an Amazon prime tv..PBS app works on my Amazon TV just fine, but not my Roku tv..so it's not the PBS app that's the problem but its Roku where the problem lies..

I have the same problem as all the other posters do, and have tried all the fixes without success. I was so excited yesterday when I was able to sign on and watch through Roku on my HD 4K tv... Please fix this, Roku!
I can't get PBS to load either. I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but still doesn't work. I can pull it up on my phone, but not on my TV via Roku. Very frustrated !
Same issue as others. PBS app does not load. Once selected, it goes to a blank screen and then returns back to the app menu. Attempted TV reboot, app remove and reinstall. No change in behavior.
I think this is most likely some backend issue with the PBS servers or authentication. Apps are typically not updated over a weekend, and as noted earlier, it was updated last week.
Basically, this is something that will probably fix itself soon, probably sometime Monday (fingers and toes crossed.)
