I wanted to watch Mt. Men tonight on Roku.  It is supposed to be free on Roku.  When I click on the Roku button, it  flips  to the History Vault and wants me to start free subscription and then pay to watch after a week.  It is frustrating as all the good stuff that was free is being changed to pay.  What gives? They can't leave some of the good stuff to be free anymore?

The content on these channels/apps are only licensed for a set period of time.  As such, free content will come and go.

I just checked and Mountain Men (the History Channel series), is still mostly available on the Roku Channel for free.  A few episodes had a $ sign next to it or came up as expired, but just about every episode from Seasons 1-12 played on the Roku Channel.

Freevee has Seasons 1 and 2 available for free also.
