I cannot get the basic to add a camera.  I get the prompt to upgrade and the only 2 options are upgrade or cancel.  cancel takes me back to the menu.  infinite loop.

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

I just wanted to submit the information below for the Example Cameras list:

I have a Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW and got it working with the following:

MJPEG Link: /Streaming/channels/102/httppreview?
JPEG Link: /Streaming/channels/1/picture?

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

I purchased 4 Zivif Model No: PR115-2040P-RS cameras.

I am trying to configure them ( Well one at this time, I have not opened the others yet. )

The IP Address for the camera is 192.168.1.111

I am trying to use IP Camera Viewer Pro.
It asks for: And I put
Camera Name: (I put TEST for now)
Description: (Again, I put TEST for now)
Camera IP: 192.168.1.111
TCP Port: 80
Login: admin
Password: admin
MJPEG Link: http://192.168.1.111/web/cgi-bin/hi3510 ... pic&-chn=2
JPEG Link: I left blank
PTZ Link: I left blank

According to the ZIVIF website, my MJPEG URL should be:
Mjpeg URL
http://<servername>/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=snap&-getpic&-chn= 2
Example: http://192.168.20.69/web/cgi-bin/hi3510 ... pic&-chn=2

I am assuming I use my camera IP Address as the server name as shown in the example. Mine being 192.168.1.111

Do I have a setting wrong?

I can get the camera working fine with Blue Iris and thru the IP Address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
does the link you have work in the browser on the computer? What happens when you try to open the link in the browser?
http://192.168.1.111/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=snap&-getpic&-chn=2
If you get mjpeg (video) then fill in the application the IP, Port, Login, Password and then in the MJPEG Link field enter:
/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=snap&-getpic&-chn=2
If you get only a picture (snapshot) from the camera, erase everything in MJPEG Link field and in the JPEG Link enter:
/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=snap&-getpic&-chn=2
If the link you have doesn't work in a browser, it won't work in the IP Camera Viewer either.
