I have 4 Roku devices. I've tried 3 of them. Each of their boxes advertise The Roku Channel, Disney+, HBO Max, etc., but I can not replicate what's on the box. I live in Florida in the USA. I bought 2 new Roku TV's last year (Onn & Phillips) from Walmart. Each TV comes with a controller with buttons for apps that are not appearing. There's not even a Roku Channel app on either TV. When I go online to try to download them, they are greyed out. I then got two of the Roku 4K+ modules last month. I thought that would solve my problem. Unfortunately, it's the same thing. It's replicating my account info from the TV's and is not showing the additional apps I mentioned and they are still greyed out online when I try to add them that way.
This usually happens when your Roku account was created in a non-US region, often through no fault of your own. It's far too easy to create an account in the wrong region. The only remedy is to create a new Roku account, factory reset your devices, and link them to the new account. You may want to create your account at https://my.roku.com/signup on a computer (not a phone) in a private or incognito browser window.
Thank you soooooo much! That worked! Currently enjoying The Roku Channel. Thanks again! 😃
