Add Paramount+ on the existing Roku account

I have an account for Paramount Plus streaming. I want to add it to Roku, but all I get is the option for the free trial. I don't want to pay again. Is the Roku-Paramount something different?

    To access your subscription on Paramount Plus through the Roku channel, please head over to the Account and Subscriptions team for further assistance.

So I just paid for a yeaerly Paramount Plus subscription but it won't open the channel on my roku, it just says to 

get started

sign out

connect (options are youtube, hulu live, spectrum, etc) I don't have any of these! 

I am very frustrated becuase it seems like I just wasted $50!

Connect Provider

I am frustrated because I purchased a year subscription and I can't get into the channel
