Home Screen display too small.

I am using a Roku Steaming Stick 4k.  When the Home Screen comes on it only shows less than 2 and 1/3 of the apps available to watch.  It’s like the right 1/3 of the screen is empty.   It was fine until I did a factory reset to try to have it recognize my cable channels (which it still won’t do although Shentel was in the list of internet providers when I set up the Roku).  I tried to adjust the display settings but that did not help.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

@Diane316

See if performing a System Restart on the Roku device resolves issue.

I had already tried that twice. ☹️

Hmmm.  Try manually setting your display type for your TV in Roku settings and then the System Restart again.  First try setting to 720p, then 1080p and then 4k if applicable.  Essentially, do not use Auto-detect.

Settings/Display Type

Also try on different HDMI ports and see if issue follows each port.

Sometimes helpful to take to another TV as well to perform this setting change if available.

If able to, post a screenshot of what you are experiencing, but I am pretty sure of what you are seeing.

You can also try using a different wallpaper during troubleshooting to see if that is a culprit as well.

Personally, I would try Factory Reset again and manually select the Display Type during the setup.  Usually I set up the TVs in 720p mode and then adjust accordingly later.

Re: Home Screen display too small.

Thank you for all the suggestions!   I will try them later on and let you know!  I don’t seem to be able to post a screenshot which I know would have been helpful.
