thank you thank you thank you! I had to do slightly differently, but was able to get it to work! I had to click on hbomax, pick my profile. Go to the far left hand side menu, go all the way down to the settings gear. Then go all the way to the top menu/bar, and go all the way over to the right, and there found the sign out - I could swear I tried this before, but must not have gone all the way over far enough!
