Newsmax announced on October 31st that starting the next day, November 1, 20923, their live-streaming news content would only be available as a subscription to Newsmax Plus. I purchased the subscription for a year to keep my access to their live-streaming news coverage which I have been following since 2020.
They listed and still list Roku as a platform on which this new service would be available.
So far, Newsmax Plus is nowhere to be found on Roku. There is no Newsmax Plus app, and the Newsmax channel on Roku Live only delivers Newsmax2, which is only archived content. The Newsmax Roku app also only delivers Newsmax2 content.
So, Newsmax has abandoned all of us who have been using Roku to access their content. I'm very ticked off and disappointed in Newsmax for these false assertions and misleading claims.
