Aquatic Life is an installable Roku-provided screensaver.
Changing the screensaver to a Roku simple screensaver is workaround #4 from the oft-repeated workarounds/solution list.
If you attempted everything from the list already, this wont have any impact for you.
Settings/Theme/Screensaver/Roku clock/Set as screensaver
I do not have the screen saver Aquatic Life
so it is unrelated
I cannot load Sling
it can't be the solution
I guess you guys need to figure it out as we can not see the channels anymore
Having same issue connecting to Spectrum. Was working early yesterday and then stopped. Internet connection is good.
What to do now???
Lorri
The Aquatic Life that I use was free.
if you think that a screensaver is the issue how do you explain that Sling does not work but Prime works for me?
less PR and more work guys
I suspect "Aquarium" (a paid screensaver) not "Aquatic Life" (Roku/Free) to potentially be the problem. And I could certainly be wrong. Just a speculation, based on the timing of when the problem began for me. Thanks!

It doesnt have to be Aquatic Life - any installable/larger resource using screensaver can cause it - therefore, switching to a simple screensaver can fix it:
Settings/Theme/Screensavers/Roku clock/Set as screensaver
I did not change the screen saver
most people on this thread mentioned that some channels work some do not
if the screen saver would be the issue none would work
in my case I also uninstalled all the aps except Sling and Prime to free up space
FYI, I dont work for Roku - I'm just another user like you, perhaps with a bit more knowledge of Roku and its products/services/operations/technology.
Try the workaround - it either works or it doesnt (it works for certain models under certain conditions)
There is a list of 8 other workarounds/solutions to try as well, start at #1 and work your way down:
Known solutions/workarounds for apps not loading/closing to Home:
1) Check for updates: Settings/System/System update/Check now - try again
2) Restart Roku: Settings/System/System restart/Restart - try again
3) Change your Theme to the Roku Default: Settings/Theme/Restore default theme - try again
4) Change your Screensaver to a Roku clock: Settings/Theme/Screensavers - try again
5) Remove SD card (if installed) - try again
6) Remove app, RESTART ROKU: Settings/System/System restart/Restart, Add app - try again
7) Network connection reset: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Network connection reset - try again
😎 Completely unplug power from Roku for 10-15 minutes - try again
9) Factory reset: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset <--- last resort
NOTE for #6: Do not remove the YouTube TV app - you will not get the app back until the end of the dispute
I am only reporting what I did and that it fixed my problem. I'm not tech support, just a customer who came on here looking for a solution. I changed my FREE Aquatic Life screensaver to the clock and then Sling would load. Sling is the only channel with which I had issues. It worked for me...just sharing the info.
