Disable Live TV auto scanning?

Same thing here, although I don't have an antenna or cable.  After I do a restart using the settings menus, and then use the live TV input I am prompted to set up live TV.  The menu gives the following choices:

Antenna

Cable

Antenna & Cable

Do this later

No matter what I choose I am prompted to set up live TV again after the next restart.  You guys aren't storing the channel data in a battery backed CMOS are you?

Device manufacturers that use that design without the battery being customer replaceable have been found guilty of engineered obsolescence in the EU because they are tying the lifetime of the product to a component with a lifespan known to be very short.
