I have Roku 2 (needed rca connections) and cannot get a Direct Tv app to load. Am I missing something or is the Direct tv app not available for roku 2. I have the direct tv app available and working on two other “streaming stick 4k” in the home.
There have been several "Roku 2" models over the years, so it's always better to give the model number instead of the name. However, any "Roku 2" with RCA outputs is on the "Legacy hardware" list and no longer supported. They all stopped receiving updates a while ago. I don't like to recommend ditching TVs that still work, but it might be time to upgrade the TVs as well as the Roku devices. Either way, if you want the Roku DirecTV app on those TVs, you'll have to upgrade your Roku devices. If you want to keep the TVs, you'll need something like an HDMI-to-RCA converter to go with the new Roku devices and you may not be completely satisfied with the result.
