On your Movie Selections, why dont you have CC available on all your movies.   This is very important

to your viewers who are Hearing Impaired.    Also of a lot of Older Adults who have hearing Loss. 

I am one of the older adults with loss of hearing, if you will look at the statistics you will see that most older adults fit this category , and end up watching everything CC .  That makes us open to all foreign movies too.

We are big Netflix and Prime members, and would like to become your source of movies, if you can make this possible with CC. Most all of us watch our English spoken movies with CC, so we can understand. 

Is this such a great issue or problem with your company to make this possible for the Hearing Impaired??

Please be informed that enabling Closed Captioning in your Roku's Settings does not guarantee that it will also trigger the CC within a specific app, as each has its own features. 

If you've already enabled the CC on your Roku Settings, rest assured that it will be on The Roku Channel. In conclusion, most apps on the Roku streaming platform are managed by the channel provider, and Roku doesn't have control over a certain app's interface and features.

If you are not seeing CC over a specific app, we suggest reaching out to the channel provider's Support team for further assistance.

Adding to the response from forum moderator @RokuCarly ...

Some channels do not use the Roku default settings, and CC can only be set while viewing the program.  These channels substitute their own method of access -- I'm guessing this is so they will have consistent controls with versions of their app running on platforms other than Roku. Often these options are accessed by pressing the up and/or down cursor control keys while viewing the program to pop the channel's own control options on the screen.  Each channel may display and organize its settings differently.
