Chunks of TV episodes in Roku Channel are played out of order

Jump to solution

I'm really enjoying my Rokus and I haven't had any problems, except for one minor one in the on demand Roku Channel list.  When I watch a Hunter episode, the show plays out of order.  It starts out OK, then skips ahead 5 minutes and plays 30 seconds of that, then jumps back to where it left off (+30 seconds) and plays that for a while, then jumps ahead again, say 7 minutes, plays a minute of that, then jumps back again. (+1 minute) It does this for most of the episode.  It seems to get worse as I progress through season 1.

It's difficult to describe.  Hunter is the only show that I've seen this happen to.  My apologies if this has already been answered.  I searched but I wasn't even sure what keywords to use.

Thank you.

No worries, the Search feature of this Community is not the best.  This "Hunter" issue has been going on since at least October of last year on the Roku Channel. (https://community.roku.com/t5/Channel-Issues-Questions/Hunter-replaying-scenes-problem/m-p/706825#M8...) and (https://community.roku.com/t5/Channel-Issues-Questions/Hunter-episodes-are-replaying-scenes-out-of-o...)

From your Home Screen, using the Search feature, just search for Hunter.  You should find that Hunter should be playing fine on both Pluto and Filmrise. (at least it was last time this was addressed and both free as well.)

Many times if you are experiencing an issue with content on one Channel/app, normally a good idea to see if it is available on another Channel/app.

Thank you for answering so quickly.  I will take a look at those other two channels.
