Britbox says I have no subscription -- in the middle of a streaming session

Yesterday in the middle of streaming a program on Britbox I was kicked out of the show and given the opportunity to subscribe.  I am subscribed through Roku. I checked my Roku account and it shows the subscription is active. So I logged out of the account and logged back in. Still says I need to subscribe.  I shut down Roku and tried again, same. I wrote a letter to Roku. No response as of today. So I called Roku and spoke to a rep who verified I have a subscription. She said they are aware of the problem and their technicians are working on it.  Frustrating! Anyone else have this issue?
