Wired outdoor SE camera not turning on

Jump to solution

I purchased 2 of the wired outdoor SE camera's. I set up base station and connect first camera easily. I went to add the second camera but when I turn it on the yellow light never appears.

I charged the camera for 48 hours. Light on camera was flashing steady red while charging. Now when I plug it in I get a rapid flashing red light on the camera.

It’s like the camera isn’t turning on or something. Any help appreciated.

Hi @BrittP,

Thanks for reaching us here in the Roku Community!

We'd like to be of support here and see how we can get you up and running. Flashing red light means that the camera is charging, while a red solid light means that it is fully charged. Does it successfully charge?

We would also recommend switching to a different power source and see if that reproduces the same issue.

For additional support, if the issue persists, we'll need backup from our experts from our Support team. Please contact them here at Roku Support, and choose the option for Roku Smart Home.

Let us know if there's anything else we can do to further assist you.
