I really don’t like this camera because 1. The night vision light only turns on when motion is detected - so when it detects something, by the time it turns the light on plus another second for it adjust the motion event is already over and all I see is a blinding flash of light. This happens even though I set night vision to ON instead of AUTO
2. The PIR effective zone means that half the camera view is wasted
i was looking at the wired outdoor SE cam and noticed it looks the same as the wired indoor SE camera I have- I like the indoor ones because they work much better than the outdoor wireless:

Does the outdoor wired camera have the same drawbacks as the outdoor wireless? And is the only difference between the outdoor and indoor wired cams that the outdoor version is weatherproof? Or does the outdoor version have better motion detection etc?
