Hi @Cnewman14 @Jesseb3955,

Welcome to the Roku Community, and thanks for raising this concern directly with us!

We understand you are having a problem with the Roku doorbell camera since it is not capturing video. We're happy to assist you further. Please try the troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Confirm the Roku Smart Home app and doorbell firmware are up to date.
  2. Confirm that detects motion and detects sound is turned on in the Events Recording setting.
    • Doorbell Live Stream > Settings > Event Recording
  3. Confirm there are no event recording schedules.
    • Doorbell Live Stream > Settings > Event Recording > Schedule > All Day should be toggled ON

Note: Roku Smart Home Subscription is not required to use the basic functions of your Roku cameras or video doorbells. You can pull up a live feed on the Roku Smart Home mobile app from anywhere and get motion and sound alerts to your phone. However, without a subscription, you’ll only get still photos of the event. If you’d like to access enhanced features like event recording, a subscription is required. With a subscription, you unlock cloud recording and 14-day storage in addition to smart detection that lets you filter events by person, pet, package, or car.

I hope I have addressed your question appropriately. If the above does not fix your issue, reply to this message, and we will gladly follow up.

Best regards,
John

I am also having this exact issue and with no notifications.Camera will not record any motion or noise triggers. My sensitivity for both is at 100 and it will not save and triggers and has been like this for 3 days now. Not very happy with the product currently. Will do it for about a total of 5 minutes if I reset camera. But I shouldn’t have to keep resetting for the product to work as it should. For about a week I was annoyed by the camera sending notifications about any little thing and then it went to absolutely nothing. No notifications or recordings. Definitely will NOT be recommending this product to ANYONE. Do better! @Roku #**bleep**typroduct
