What a poor oversight! What misleading advertising!  Roku you’ve always been outstanding for us in our home. What a disappointment with our latest endeavor. We decided to replace 12 cameras in and around our home and both doorbells.  We had a few different brands and we really wanted to simplify it all.  We researched Roku cameras for a bit.  Everything about them seemed a perfect fit.  Well it was until I plug em in… set em up… and try to play back the recoded video on the micro sd card.  Much to my disbelief you literally have to take the card out and put it in your computer to view what was recoded on the sd card.  We’ve had 6-7 different cameras in and outside our home… never has this ever been a thing.  Never.  Everything is so misleading and NOTHING that I found beside here on the community page tells me you have to do such a thing. If I had a tally of pros and cons this 1 con would wipe every pro from existence! How could this be missed/not included?  No playback at all. Only the events.  I have zero issue paying the $100 a year for event recordings… but even with that you can’t have the continuous recordings! What an epic fail on the part of Roku.    I hope the plans to include this are in the works.  I hope Roku rewords their advertising for this and tells people the idiotic means they expect you to go through to watch what is on your sd card.   Hundreds of $$’s and so much time “upgrading” (or so I thought) my home security… for it to have so little value.  What other hidden disappointments do you have hidden in your other smart home products? I was planning on replacing all my smart bulbs (20 of them) and even adding the security system to my home. But ye have little faith in Roku after this blunder!
