Tonight I attempted to watch a show on MAX only to find out hours later that the show is no longer available on MAX. It was deleted without any explanation.
So, I called up the show and found it on Roku. Great, I clicked, and it took me to a subscription page for MAX, mind you I already have an annual account with Max. So, it appears that if I want to watch my show, I need to subscribe to Roku to watch the program on MAX which DOES NOT CARRY THE SHOW ANY LONGER.
How screwed up are these people? Does Roku not know that MAX does not carry the program any longer, or are they trying to suck money out of unsuspecting customers by making them subscribe through them for a show they can NEVER watch...
Maybe it's time to move on to Prime, this circle jerk is a joke.

Re: double charging by Roku for MAX
Thanks,
Maybe I'm not understanding. The message suggest I log into my "ROKU TV" account. I don't have a ROKU TV, it is an LG. Secondly, I went to the Web, Roku Sign-in and entered my MAX credentials and it failed.
Certainly, I am doing something wrong, or I have the wrong device, but the messages said "...and devices".
I also went to the TV, clicked on ROKU, checked all of the settings and other features and could not find a place to enter my ID or Password.
HELP!

Re: double charging by Roku for MAX
@Easy23, are you trying to use "The Roku Channel" app on your LG TV? You don't have any Roku device whatsoever?
Help others find this answer and click "Accept as Solution."
If you appreciate my answer, maybe give me a Kudo.
I am not a Roku employee.
