I purchased a Verizon play+ bundle yesterday. It includes paramount+/Showtime plus Netflix. I already had a para+ account through Roku. I read somewhere else to cancel the paramount subscription first, which I tried to do through my TV Roku and through the Roku app. I was never given the option to “cancel” the subscription, only turn off auto-renew. To continue my signup with the Verizon bundle, I have to “link” the phone number associated with my para to Verizon. But when I try that I get a “your paramount account is still active, please cancel first.”
I already chatted with a rep here and was told they don’t have a “cancel immediately” option. Auto renew ends on Dec 26.
