False Advertising Black Friday Deals

Jump to solution

I tried to sign up for the Black Friday deal for Peacock. It immediately bounced to regular rate. Bait and switch much?

Hi, @ServiceBad.

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you letting us know about your issue with the subscription deals. We're here to provide some information.

Please be aware that all offers will be displayed in the Black Friday Deals Platform Zone, whether a user is eligible or not. If a user clicks on a tile and no offers appear, then they are not eligible for an offer from that provider. To qualify for this promotion, customers must not have taken part in a free trial for the channel in question in the last 12 months and must not be current subscribers to the channel in question.

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on what promotional offers does Roku have?

We hope you find this information helpful.

Thanks,
Reynan
