Cannot access my current subscriptions on new VIZIO TV

I HAD A ROKU EXPRESS DEVICE PAIRED WITH A 32" TV IN THE LIVING ROOM. I REPLACED THE 32" TV WITH A 43" VIZIO 4K SMART TV. THE VIZIO HAS SIMILAR APPS EMBEDDED IN IT.

I CURRENTLY HAVE ACTIVE ROKU SUBSCRIPTIONS TO MAX,PARAMOUNT AND PEACOCK WHEN I SELECT ANY ONE OF THOSE APPS ON THE VIZIO TV I GET OFFER TO EITHER SIGN IN OR SIGN UP FOR A NEW SUBSCRIPTION. I ALREADY HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION TO THAT APP. I DO NOT HAVE A USER /PASS FOR EACH APP. I ONLY HAVE A USER/PASS FOR ROKU.

THE APPS ON VIZIO DO NOT RECOGNIZE I ALREADY HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION SO HOW DO I WATCH THESE APPS ON THE VIZIO WITHOUT INCURRING COST OF ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION? I ALSO HAVE ADDITIONAL TV'S IN THE HOME USING ROKU AND WANT TO KEEP ROKU SUBSCRIPTIONS.

Re: Cannot access my current subscriptions on new VIZIO TV

Most subscriptions paid through Roku are only valid on Roku devices.  It was probably stated in the fine print that no one ever reads.  For some services, you can try to log in on the service's website (e.g., https://www.paramountplus.com/) and try signing in with the email address used on your Roku device.  Use the "forgot password" option and they may send you an email allowing you to establish a password.  If they do, you'll have an email address and password that you can use anywhere.  If not, you can either cancel your subscription through Roku and subscribe directly with the provider or connect a Roku device to your TV.

In general, most here would recommend not subscribing through third parties like Roku, Amazon, Apple, etc. to avoid such problems.
