I tried to cancel a trial subscription to Hallmark+. I followed the directions on how to cancel a subscription, but Roku wouldn't acknowledge that I had a trial subscription, so I couldn't cancel it...then yesterday I received a charge for the subscription. When I went to Roku's website...it still didn't show that I had the subscription even though I was able to access the channel during the trial period.
Please make this right by cancelling my subscription, and refunding the money I paid to continue a trial subscription that I was unable to cancel.
You'll have to contact account/payment support at https://support.roku.com/contactus for any kind refund, but does the description of the charge say something like "Roku for Hallmark"? If "Roku" isn't in the description, Roku didn't charge you. If you subscribed directly with Hallmark+, you'd have to contact them to cancel.
Dear renojim.
Below you will see the billing information I received. I paid for the subscription using PayPal.
As you can see, the payment went to Roku and not to Hallmark+
Praying that you are well and prospering
"Merry Christmas"
@bishoboy, interesting. I wonder if Paypal statements are different than what we usually hear here about descriptions on credit card statements. Either way, you have to contact Roku support at https://support.roku.com/contactus or try the email address on that statement. You won't get a resolution here since it's mostly users (like me) trying to help other users. You could also try Paypal's dispute resolution.
Wishing you the same! Merry Christmas!
