Being charged for Roku to pay my subscription???

I would like to know WHY Roku charges me $9.99 for I guess it would managing my subscriptions that I pay for and they do absolutely nothing!!  I have HBO Max and then I get a change for that and then there is a charge for Roku $9.99 for HBO Max??? I have read through the policy and I can’t find where it says that they will charge any amount $$$ if you pay for apps through them. Isn’t that called piggy backing??? I have been charged this for the last 3 years and it adds up. Something is NOT right. Can anyone else explain to me WHY???? They charge me for each app I have!! I have since canceled all of them and went to prime video to add my apps because they don’t charge me anything. Not very happy with ROKU SMH.

Re: Being charged for Roku to pay my subscription???

It's possible to subscribe to many providers both directly and through Roku.  It sounds like you inadvertently did both.  I suggest you add a PIN to your account at https://my.roku.com so that purchases can't be made without entering it.  You can try pleading your case to account/billing support at https://support.roku.com/contactus, but all I can say is, "good luck".
