YouTube TV Controls With Roku Voice

Does anyone know how to get YouTube TV working with the Roku remote voice functions so you can change channels easily, open the app, and go directly to a specific channel, etc.? E.g., if I’m on the main Roku homepage and I wanna navigate directly to a channel within YouTube TV, via the voice feature on the remote by saying “ open HGTV on YouTube TV”, it doesn’t seem to work. Usually it seems to open a separate individual app such as HGTV, ESPN, ABC News, etc. 

My parents are elderly, and are trying to use the voice functionality similar to the way you can use an Xfinity remote. Does this exist with YouTube TV and the Roku remote? Thx.

    Sorry, but it does not. The starting point for voice commands is always on the home screen. You can't change that.
