YouTube channel getting Stable Volume setting?

Any hint about when the YouTube app will get the Stable Volume setting the website player just got? I'm hoping it'll help with the overall issue nearly all streaming platforms have - wild variation in baseline loudness of the channels/apps and even sources.

    It's already there. It's in the far-right icon when you play a video. I guess there is no global setting, but I think it seems to stick once changed.
