Will Roku Express 4K+ work with Panasonic Viera Model TC-L42U22

I successfully used a Roku Express 4K+ device on my Samsung TV.

But when I try to connect the second Roku device of the same type to my Panasonic Viera Model TC-L42U22, I notice that the input area on the screen grays out the two listed HDMI ports 2 and 3 amongst the other inputs whereas HDMI 1 (Direct TV satellite), VCR, Component and TV are blue (not grey) and can be selected.  When I try to select HDMI port 2 or 3 (with the Roku cable plugged into either port), the cursor just jumps right over the greyed out HDMI port options on the input screen and won't allow me to select them. So, I can never select the right input for the Roku Device.

Help! The TV SerialNo is MX00820894.

    If you're using the TV's USB port to power the Express, try using the supplied power adapter (if one was supplied) or a USB power adapter/charger from a phone/tablet that can supply at least 1 Amp.

    Check the setup options on your Viera TV.   It sounds to me that you may need to enable the greyed out HDMI ports.
