Do not have a remote for Roku 1 device that I'm using on a non smart TV in my bedroom. I do have a Roku TV set up in my living room. Can I make the Roku 1 device work?
Roku TV remotes don't work with Roku players unless it's a voice remote and then you'd have to pair it to your other Roku device before it will work. As long as your Roku device is connected to your network, you can use the mobile app as a remote. If it's truly a Roku 1, it may be too old to be much good at this point (it's the model number that matters). If it's not connected to your network, you'll need a working remote to get it connected.
