I have a new 98" TCL TV. I used my roku ultra remote for the first couple weeks but now it's been misplaced or lost. I have a different separate Roku voice remote from another TV. I'd like to use it, buit can't seem to pair it with the TCL. It just keeps 'searching". Is this doable?
TCL makes Google tv's, Android tv's, Fire Tv's and of course Roku tv's. What do you actually have? Roku remotes only pair to Roku tv's.
I was using the Roku remote and hand no issues with the TCL TV. Unfortunately the remote is lost. So I went to the TCL manufacturer's remote, which does not give me any sound. That's why I wanted to use a substitute Roku remote.

First does say Roku tv on the front of it? Does it have crescent moon key on it? Yes, to one of those questions means this remote is Roku tv IR remote, useless on your Ultra Roku device. You need Roku wifi voice remote, this Roku remote has to be first paired to your Roku ultra, then programmed to control a TCL TV.
